Evan, the young king embarks on an adventure that crosses the boundaries between animated video games and feature films. Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s EditionToday, the launch of, on Xbox, Xbox Game Pass (PC Game Pass), and Xbox Game Pass.
Evan, as a King, has the responsibility for great power. He’ll personally set forth and do battle to unite and save his people in this action RPG. However, the king’s duty does not end there. Evan is required to develop and manage his empire using a simulator like Kingdom Management, as well as lead his army through a real-time strategy such Skirmish.
These two modes will become important parts of Evan’s journey as he works to demonstrate his leadership on and off the battlefield, so read on for a dive into how they work and a couple of tips to get you started.

Modalities of Kingdom Management
Evan will eventually be able sit down on his throne in Kingdom Management mode once he reaches a certain point. Start in a small, humble community and you’ll help Evan manage his people. You will choose which buildings to build and then assign citizens to their sections.
Your kingdom will benefit from the addition of each building. Some rare items are only available to those who have built buildings in Kingdom Management mode.
Citizens will drive upgrades and research in Evan’s kingdom. Each citizen is unique and will be better at one type of job than another. It’ll be Evan’s job as king to make this assessment and decision.
Pro Tip: Prioritize the Evermore Spellworks if magic is more appealing to you. You can upgrade or research new spells with this building.

Skirmish Mode
To build and expand his kingdom, Evan must demonstrate his tactical prowess by leading his army against other enemy armies in a real-time-strategy-like mode called Skirmish mode. Evan can command as many as 4 soldiers in this mode. Every soldier type can be distinguished by their uniform color.
Pro Tip: Weapon type can also affect the level of effectiveness for a particular type of solider. Swords have a strong resistance to Hammers while Hammers are strong for Spears. Spears can also resist Hammers. In other words, Sword > Hammer > Spears > Sword. Although bows have a strong resistance to all weapons types, they can be vulnerable to melee attackers.
