Wonder Woman 3 director Patty Jenkins ‘never walked away’, Rogue Squadron still alive

Patty Jenkins (director of Wonder Woman films starring Gal Gadot) has expressed concern about the cancelation of Wonder Woman 3The Hollywood Reporter reported that Warner Bros. was involved in the report.

Jenkins posted a statement to Twitter which asserted that she “never walked away” from the project. Jenkins responded to The Wrap’s follow-up report, which stated that Jenkins refused to revise her film treatment after it was rejected by producers. Reports claimed that producers had asked her to pitch again but she decided not to revise the script.

“This is simply not true,” Jenkins wrote in her statement. “I never walked away. “I was willing to consider any request made of me. It was my understanding there was nothing I could do to move anything forward at this time.”

Jenkins blamed Warner Bros. for the recent corporate chaos. They are restructuring and cutting down production in the wake of its merger. In addition to trying to reorganise DC movie and TV, the DC Studios umbrella will include its head James Gunn as well as Peter Safran. “DC is obviously buried in changes they are having to make, so I understand these decisions are difficult right now,” she said.

Gunn offered tacit endorsement of Jenkins’ version of events. Replying to Jenkins’ tweet, he said, “I can attest that all of Peter and my interactions with you were only pleasant and professional.”

Jenkins was also the one to set this record. Rogue Squadron, the Star Wars film she was set to make before it was removed from Disney’s schedule. The movie remains in active development, she said, though it’s not a dead cert that it will be made.

Jenkins explained to Jenkins that Jenkins was originally leaving. Rogue SquadronDue to scheduling conflicts with Wonder Woman 3However, Lucasfilm asked her if she’d return to make the film after DC, and she said yes.

“I originally left Rogue Squadron after a long and productive development process when it became clear it couldn’t happen soon enough and I did not want to delay WW3 any further,” she said. “When I did, Lucasfilm asked me to consider coming back to RS after WW3They offered me the opportunity to accept, and I accepted. I was offered a fresh deal. Actually, they still have me on the deal and this project is in development. I don’t know if it will happen or not. We never do until the development process is complete, but I look forward to its potential ahead.”

Presumably Rogue Squadron You have a greater chance of getting on the right track again Wonder Woman 3 no longer on Jenkins’ schedule.

Jenkins gave thanks to Wonder Woman fan Gadot as well as Lynda Carpenter, Lynda’s actress, for playing the role in 1970s TV series, as well to Wonder Woman herself. “Living in and around her values makes one a better person every day,” she said. “I wish her and her legacy an amazing future ahead, with or without me.”
