Starfield Blasts Off In September
Starfield, Bethesda’s mammoth-sized space RPG, is launching on September 6, the publisher announced in a video today. Starfield Direct, which showcases more of the game’s features, will also air June 11th.
In a new video hosted by game director Todd Howard, he states the Direct in June will provide a “deep dive” into the game. He reiterates that Starfield is a unique experience that also has many of the hallmarks fans expect from a Bethesda title. We last saw Starfield during the Xbox Game Showcase last summer, where Bethesda revealed its extensive scope including thousands of planets, spaceship construction, enviornemental scanning, and other features.
Starfield was initially scheduled for launch on November 11, 2022. But, the launch got delayed. It was later reconfirmed to launch within the first half of 2023, and though September sits on the second half of the calendar, we’re happy to see the game get a concrete date again.
Starfield will launch on Xbox Game Pass Day One on Xbox Series X/S, and on PC.
