Rhythm Action Roguelike BPM: Bullets Per Minute Available Now

BPM = Bullets per Minute is a rhythm-action FPS roguelike where you must shoot, jump, dodge and reload to the beat of an epic rock soundtrack that’ll have you headbanging to the beat! Described as “Metal as Hell” by NME, the pulsating synths and crushing guitars escort you as you battle through your adventure.

To defeat the hordes, choose your champion and return them to Helheim. Every Valkyrie begins with their own weapon and stats, which can be enhanced as they progress through each stage. You can explore randomly created dungeons to find various weapons and abilities that will help you. However, remember to keep the beat of the music in mind when performing dodge, bullet or reload. You can be doomed if you miss a few notes.

In each stage, a variety of enemies randomly generated with different rhythmic behavior. You can clear the area by defeating them and move on to the next stage. Each floor is home to a boss. Every boss acts in their own way, so you need to learn how to take advantage of them. You can defeat 7 bosses to reach Nidhogg.

To aid you in battle, you’ll discover merchants on each floor where you can purchase health, armor, weapons and upgrades. You’ll even be added to their loyalty program, so rack up points and get those upgrades.

But that’s not all, as you journey through the different rooms, you’ll discover a variety of shrines. Make sure to check them out and part way with some coin… you might be blessed with an ability upgrade or item depending on the shrine.

You can be a Valkyrie and fight to stop the forces of darkness from invading Asgard.

BPM refers to how all your actions, and your enemies’ actions are linked to the music. The sequence of actions your enemies take is reminiscent of a rock opera. Inspired by retro shooters of the ’90s, it is fast, frenetic and rhythmical. Your opponents can be evaded by double jumping, bunnyhopping, dash and rocket jumping.

The goal of your game is to get through all randomly generated Dungeons. You will need different weapons, skills, and other items every time. You can change the game by using these weapons or abilities, which will make each playthrough different.

To reach the last boss, you must defeat seven bosses. You must master the unique moves and attacks of each boss if you wish to be successful. Some bosses require that you jump across lava fields or dodge rapid projectiles. Others may be difficult to resist and some will force you to stay still for several seconds.

The Overdrive update will allow you to put your metal to the test. You will find new characters and weapons as well as new difficulty modes, Practice and Hellish.
