Octopath Traveler 2 secret job locations and unlock requirements

Octopath Traveler 2There are four secret jobs to unlock. These function a little differently than the first game’s advanced jobs. Instead of unlocking these job titles through boss fights and other events, some jobs can be obtained by simply interfacing with regular NPCs.

We have listed below the places to look for and unlock these four secrets jobs. inventor, Armsmaster, conjurerAnd arcanist.

Secret secondary location for inventor

In the inventor guild Northeast part of Eastern New Delsta Highroad, so you can unlock it very shortly after you start the game (even sooner if you start with Throné).

However, you will need to find specific key items in order to unlock Inventor skills, rather than using Job Points (JP), meaning it’s not a great choice for early game.

How does an inventor make a living?

Invention skills (duh!) are used by the inventor. All these skills have different cooldowns during battle. You can only use the invention once. After that, you’ll need to take a turn making another one. It can be anywhere between one and four additional turns.

In general, inventor acts as both buffer and debuffer. However, it is also capable of breaking shields if used to boost your moves.

Secret secondary location for Armsmaster job

The armmaster guild is currently in active. blacksmith’s home in Gravell. A man will originally be blocking this door, and you’ll need to knock him out using a path action like Challenge (Hikari) or Ambush (Throné).

Similar to the Inventor you must provide specific items for the blacksmith in order unlock his skills. The blacksmith will smith rusty weapons into useful weapons if you are the armsmaster. These should be given to the armsmaster so they can use them.

What do armsmasters do?

Each skill does more damage depending on the circumstances. The spear attack is more effective if there are many enemies, and the bow attack triggers twice if a shield is broken.

The bread-and-butter skill for armsmaster is “Sixfold Strike,” which hits an enemy one time with each weapon, allowing you to figure out weaknesses quick and break shields easily. The Armsmaster is a physical attack specialist.

Location for Conjurer Secret Secondary Job

You must unlock the conjurer to gain access. Ku’s Five-Tiered Tower can be climbed. You will find the tower to your right at the castle entrance. Based on our gameplay, we were only able to access this tower in Ku after completing Hikari’s story. There will be five bosses to beat, including the conjurer. Most of these bosses won’t be too hard, and you don’t have to beat them all in a row without healing. It is possible to save, heal and leave the boss without ever having to go back.

Because she has two weaknesses, the conjurer can prove to be tricky. When she’s the shrine maiden, her weaknesses are polearm, bow, ice, and dark. When she switches to be a sword-wielding demon, she’s weak against axe, staff, wind, and light.

Once you beat the conjurer, she’ll give you a license and vanish. That said, there’s no actual “guild” for this job and you won’t see a flag on the map for it.

Conjurer skills can be unlocked with JP, unlike the other two positions. To unlock each skill, you will need 2,000 JP.

What does conjurer do?

Conjurer’s main skills come from imbuing physical attacks with elements, which is a great buffing skill to capitalize on enemy elemental weaknesses. It also has an ability that will fully restore and revive all your party members — at the cost of missing the next 6 turns.

The conjurer class is an excellent support for most characters.

Secret job for Arcanists

Arcanist can only be unlocked if you have the Boat Unlocked means that you must have Partitio $100,000. After you’ve got him and your money, go to Tropu’hopuYou can find Ochette in, an east-facing town of Beasting Village. You can buy a ship by going straight through town. This opportunity is only available if Partitio is part of your party.

Each skill, just like the conjurer cost 2,000 JP each to unlock.

What do arcanists do?

Arcanist is another support job, as it does both light and dark damage while also restoring the party’s HP and SP. You can also get buffs or debuffs extended with its many skills. You can extend the buff duration indefinitely for 50 SP with its divine skill. This skill can be combined with another that lets the character keep buffs even after they die to create a formidable team.
