NBA All-World From Pokémon Go Studio Available Today

When Pokémon Go launched in 2016, it immediately became one of the biggest phenomenons in gaming history. Niantic, the studio behind the still-running Pokémon Go, has officially launched its latest project, NBA All-World. Much like Pokémon Go’s core concept, NBA All-World lets you search your real-world location for some of the biggest names in the NBA in order to challenge them and recruit them to your team.

Players will meet various NBA players as they explore the surroundings. These moments are where you have the opportunity to take on a range of challenges and recruit them for your team. You can train these players, dress them up in your favourite gear, and then compete to become the leader of your community courts. The encounter can be used to earn Cred for players you already have recruited. You can purchase gear in the game shop or look for authentic drops from famous brands. Your team’s level increases and you are able to recruit more players. After you have established your team, you are able to take on other players in 1-on-1 tournaments and win in-game prizes.

NBA All-World allows fans to peek into the personal lives of NBA stars. Players can also learn more about the real-world places that have been favored by players across the league while they are in the game. Niantic has also launched a new marketing campaign, as well as an animated short-form series called “Where are you from?” The series features several actors, such as Jalen Green and Jordan Poole. Karl-Anthony Towns is also featured. Andrew Wiggins is another participant.

In the time since Pokémon Go launched in 2016, Niantic has launched Ingress Prime (an improved version of the map-scouring mobile title that preceded Pokémon Go), Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, and Pikmin Bloom, all while supporting Pokémon Go with content updates and in-game events. Niantic also has Marvel World of Heroes on the horizon. NBA All-World for iOS and Android is now available.
