MultiVersus teases Gremlins’ Stripe and Gizmo DLC

Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games have revealed a brand new partnership. Multiversus teaser trailer on Twitter on Thursday hinting that Gizmo, the loveable fur ball from Joe Dante’s 1984 film GremlinsThe free-to-play cross-over fighting game is now available to everyone.

This announcement isn’t completely out of nowhere, what with Stripe, the antagonist of GremlinsAnnouncing that a new fighter will be added to the roster MultiVersus’ first season of content alongside DC Comics’ Black Adam. There was also a March datamine leak that showed that Fred Flintstone, Gizmo and Harry Potter were all set to join the game.

What’s confusing about this new trailer is whether or not Stripe and Gizmo are set to come to the game separately, or if the two characters will be folded into one as a single new fighter. In any case, we’ll find out when the update comes to MultiVersusSeptember 6.

MultiVersusMorty of Season 1 will begin August 15. Rick and Morty Fame will be the new player in the game starting on August 23.
