How to find Rare Island Sanctuary Animals in FFXIV
Final Fantasy 14: EndwalkerIt is possible to raise exotic animals and keep them in your own Island Sanctuary. Because they only spawn under certain conditions, some animals may be more difficult to find. Keep reading our FFXIVGuide to locate rare species and the conditions that they require to reproduce.
There’s a bug that prevents some rare animals from spawning. It happens to animals that have been bred. Both a time and weather requirementHowever, some have found temporary relief from the discord at Island Sanctuary.
You should follow these steps to spawn rare animals that have both weather and time requirements.
- No other players are allowed on your island
- Get off your island early to avoid weather change (Midnight, 8 a.m., 4 p.m. Eorzean time).
- Wait for 5 Eorzen minutes past the rare monster’s spawn time
- Check to make sure your monster has spawned.
