Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Comes Out This October

Brian Intihar revealed some details today on the Summer Game Fest about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 by Brian Intihar. Although we were not given any new gameplay footage today, two concept artworks featuring Venom and Kraven, the main villains of Marvel’s Spidey 2, did appear.

Venom’s face was all we saw in the first trailer of Spider-Man 2. Insomniac has created a new version of Venom, and this is the first time we’ve seen it. Intihar, when asked to identify the man, only said that it wasn’t Eddie Brock. The identity of the person inside the symbiote remains a mystery. If you played the 2018 Spider-Man game, then you probably have a pretty good idea of who is inside. The full interview can be found in the video.

A release date was also announced. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch on PS5 in October 2023 with a map that is twice as large as before and twice as many web-slingers.
