Lost Ark Receives Its First New Subclass Soon, The Glaivier

Lost Ark has a handful of subclasses that didn’t make it over from the Korean version game to the Amazon Games’ localized edition that was released in February. Thanks to a tweet from the Lost Ark team, we may be able to play one of those subclasses in the game very soon.

The tweet, which you can see above, only contains a GIF of a rotating bladed polearm that indicates and a date emblazoned below it of April 21 indicates the Gaivalier is set to arrive in an update next week. Glaivier also called the Lance Master of the Korean Lost Ark. This subclass is Martial Artist and specialises in using spears, glaives, and poking enemies from a safe distance with dangerous, sharp objects. You can switch between fighting stances using her special class ability.

On the Lost Ark website, there is already a page for the Glaivier that describes its style and showcases some of your skills on the battlefield. The Lost Ark has a description of this new subclass.

“The Glaivier is a dual-skilled martial artist. Each skill set can be represented by one her weapons: the spear or the eye. Balance between these two forms of martial arts will allow you to make the most of her powerful, but deadly style.

The release of the Glaivier is set for April 21, and we will be swinging deadly polearms in all sorts of wicked ways within a week.
