Lost Ark guide: Vykas Legion Raid Phase 3 cheat sheet

Well, we’ve come this far. Let’s try to beat Vykas in Legion Raid Phase 3! Similar to our previous Lost ArkThese Vykas Walkthroughs and Cheat Sheets will assist you in Phase 3. Just keep an eye on the boss’ HP bar.

First, here’s the detailed Phase 3 walkthrough; scroll past that for our simplified Vykas Gate 3 cheat sheet.

Walkthrough for Mechanics

Since it plays a major role in the special mechanics, let’s have a look at the Charm Bar first. Vykas damage will cause the pink bar to rise higher above your head during Phase 3. If it goes over 70% (the white stripe), you will deal more damage, but you’ll also take increased damage. If it’s full, you will be charmed, attack your own teammates, and die. Activating one of four light orbs (depending on your difficulty) can lower the charm bar. Try using Sleep bombsCharmed friends can counteract the effects.

Depending on the difficulty, two to three members of a party are required after reaching HP bar 175. Slowed. The slowed players (indicated with a brown circle) should drop their debuffs in a line towards Vykas at 9 o’clock. The sped-up players (blue circle) should drop their buffs elsewhere and then go to 9 o’clock to be slowed before Vykas’ taunt wipe attack comes in.

Vykas goes missing at HP 155. He leaves behind a few of his friends. Shadow clones behind. Players who have a charm score of 70% or more will still be eligible to play. Swords instead. If a sword and shadow clone are in the same spot, it’s a safe zone for the incoming attack.

Vykas, who is approximately 135 HP will start the typing challenge. Simply type in the words that are displayed on the screen. The typing challenge is a lot easier if everyone’s charm bar is at 0%, so communicate with the team to reserve a light orb for this occasion. The more players fail the typing test, the more powerful Vykas’ next area-of-effect attack will be (shields up!). Vykas will briefly be stunned if everyone passes the typing test.

A team of 120 HP requires everyone to work together Charmed 100%You will survive. Vykas grants random players charm-increasing buffs. Make sure that everyone is around these players.

Use a second HP bar once the HP bar is below 105 light orb to drop everyone’s charm bar, then stagger Vykas as quickly as possible (she’ll be surrounded by a charm-increasing aura). You can use a time stop item to prevent a wipe from the exploding foggy minions.

Vykas calls an army to HP bar 55 Tentacles. It is easy to eliminate all the tentacles, however charm bars greater than 70% will not allow them to be damaged. You can see where the tentacles spawn on the minimap.

For the HP bar X40 effect, Moderation in hardPlayers only Four red orbs spawn at positions 1, 5, 7, and 11 o’clock. You must consume each orb by a low-charm person (the more charm you have, the better). Continue pressing the spacebar immediately thereafter.

Prepare for the unexpected stagger check when Vykas is at low health, and make sure you don’t look at the purple clone in the middle. Vykas will spawn clones, but you can tell which one’s real by looking for the boss icon on the mini map. Be on the lookout for airstrikes similar to those at HP barX135.

Cheat Sheet

HP barX175: Speed (blue), slow (brown), buffs (refer diagram).

• Brown: take positions at 9 o’clock, one on the edge and one in the middle.
• Blue: drop speed buffs elsewhere, then go to 9 o’clock.

X155: At least one player must have +70% charm for swords or clones.

• Charm player pings the sword at a +70% rate
• Sword + clone = safe zone.

X135: Typing challenge. To reduce charms to 0%, use light orb

• Attack by airstrike: Vykas may attack inside, outside or both. Move to Vykas.

X120 – Everyone can have 100% charm with marked pink puddle gamers.

Stagger check for X105. Use light orbs to lower your charm level to 0%. Stagger Vykas then use the time-stop potion.

X75 is the same as X175.

X55 – Remove all tentacles. Charm should be +70%

X40 (Hard difficulty only): lowest charm players consume red orbs at 1, 5, 7, and 11 o’clock.

• Once you’re done eating, use the space bar to spam.
• At X8, lower your charm. (Use light orb).

X0: Stagger check. See the mini-map to find out which Vykas are real.

• The purple clone is out of sight.
• As many as you can stagger.
