Lost Ark guide: Vykas Legion Raid Phase 2 cheat sheet

Walkthrough of Mechanics

Vykas will be using her around the health bar 144 rotating lasers attack. This attack is repeated around HP bar 90 and at random times. Vykas shoots a purple laser at all players during the attack. You will be able to see the purple laser, which explodes but does not cause you any harm. If, however, you’re standing close to another player and you take a double hit, the Raid may be over for you. To maintain distance from the blasts, players can run at normal speed and move towards the edges of the map.

HP bar 120: Take One patternThe diagram below shows the positions. Three bosses will be randomly generated by the boss. Shadow clones at 3 o’clock, 7 o’clock, and 11 o’clock. One player has folded wings and one has opened them, while the other has just one folded wing. Five players from the middle of the table must all consume an orb. The orb will give them either a blue or purple sign. Whichever marking — either red or purple — appears on the majority of players will determine the order in which they must visit the shadow clones to avoid the incoming shockwaves. Here’s the correct order for each color:

• Three purple symbols (purple majority): no wings raised → one wing raised → both wings raised
• Three red symbols (red majority): both wings raised → one wing raised → no wings raised

It will summon three people when the boss has reached HP bar 65. Shadow clones again. You can take on these positions Pattern two (refer to diagram above). You will need to remember which shockwaves each clone shadow releases. Next, you will see the shadow-clones begin shooting. orbs You need to stop the boss from using the black orbs. Two black orbs are required for your position. Each party member must pick up one. If there are three, one of the “spare” players need to pick up the third. It’s best to decide on a quick communication method before starting the Legion Raid (e.g. calling out “7-4,” meaning the fourth orb from the seven o’clock clone must be intercepted).

Cheat Sheet

Assigning positions to the fighters (see diagram).

• Pattern one (HP bar X120): Five players in the center (cross formation), three on the outer edge at 3, 7, and 11 o’clock.
• Pattern two (X65): Two players at 3, 7, and 11 o’clock, plus two spares.

Rotating Lasers. Turn clockwise at the edge of map.

X120: Shadow clones at 3, 7, and 11 o’clock. In the middle, absorb five orbs.

• Purple majority: 0 wings → 1 wing → 2 wings.
• Red majority: 2 wings → 1 wing → 0 wings.

X90: The same as X144 but with rotating lasers.

X65: Shadow clones (3, 7, and 11 o’clock) orb interception. You should remember the shockwave colors red and black.

• Intercept black orbs.
• Spare players help out.
