JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle R Brings More JoJos To The Party

Cyberconnect2’s fight game from 2013 was revealed as part of today’s Sony State of Play presentation. The update to Cyberconnect2 is Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle R.

This trailer, which featured the first glimpse at All Star Battle R, showed many of All Star Battle’s iconic characters such as Jotaro Jostar and Giorno Giovanna. 50 characters are said to be on the roster, making this the new definitive version of All Star Battle. There will be faces from all generations of JoJo anime, manga, and comics available and willing to fight.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle, a 3D fighter is inspired by Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure manga. The series revolves around the bloodline of Jonathan Jostar who was once forced to face an evil discovered and embraced by his adopted brother Dio Brando, and the results of that conflict have rippled through the generations. All Star Battle R brings the PS3-era fighting game to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 with more characters and features in the “early fall” of 2022.
