Here Are The Nintendo Switch’s Top 10 Best Selling Games

Nintendo’s latest set of financial reports, for Fiscal Year 2023 ended in March (March), has been released. Although the Switch platform has sold over 125 million copies, hardware and software have both decreased. 

Software sales were down by 9%, but hardware was down by 22.1%. 

Here’s Nintendo’s most recent list of best-selling Switch titles, including Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and Splatoon 3.

Nintendo announced its most recent financial results. This time, they covered the first quarter of fiscal year 2023, or April, may, and juin of 2022. The company announced that Switch sales have surpassed 111,000,000 units, but overall, they are still down. 

Nintendo attributes the decline in hardware sales to the current shortage of semiconductors. This quarter’s software sales have also declined, by 8.6%. Nintendo sold 41,41 million units during Q1 FY23, despite the 8.6% drop. The company also released its list of the top 10 Switch games. Many have seen an increase since last year’s financial results. 

These are the 10 most popular Nintendo Switch titles as of June 20, 2022.

• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: 28,82 millions

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the most popular product in this ranking, with 1.48 Million units sold this quarter. Nintendo also reports that the new releases of 2022 have been selling well. Nintendo Switch Sports sold 4.84 million units, Mario Strikers: Battle League sold 1.91 million, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land sold 1.88 million units, making it the second-best selling Kirby game of all-time.
