Atari Announces Speed-Based Platformer Mr. Run And Jump

Atari announced Mr. Run and Jump as a new platforming action game. It promises to delight speedrunners. With lush neon graphics and reflex-based platforming stages, the game promises fast-paced and frenetic action for fans of the high-speed, tight-controlling entries of the genre.

You play as Mr. Run & Jump and explore the Realms of Color in a quest for the missing hero’s dog Leap. The title was originally created as a homebrew title for Atari 2600 in 2021, but a modernized version is now being released by developers Graphite Lab and Heavy Horse Games through official means. Mr. Run and Jump has dozens unique levels spread across six different environments, and several enemies who have their own attack patterns and personalities. Atari claims that the game will have more than 30 hour of gameplay, when taking into consideration time trials, collectibles and achievements.
