Halo’s Pelican comes lands in Microsoft Flight Simulator
Coming soon is the UNSC Pelican, a Halo franchise member. Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developers made this announcement at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday. It’s the first officially licensed fictional aircraft to be added to the realistic simulation game — and Microsoft even showed it flying in outer space.
The Pelican is also known as the Dropship 77 Troop Carrier or the D77 TC. This aircraft should be familiar to all Master Chief fans. It can be used for both air and space flight. The aircraft is used to point-insert troops or vehicles. However, it can also be used in ground support roles if properly equipped. It’s signature armament is a chin-mounted auto-cannon controlled by the co-pilot.

Simulator FlightThe release of the software was greeted with rave reviews by Polygon in August 2020. By streaming satellite information and photographs directly from Bing Maps, it accurately reproduces all of Earth’s surface. This feature is included in the Xbox Game Pass program for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows PC.
