Get your first look at Space Marine 2 gameplay

Developer Saber Interactive unveils its first look at Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2The Game Awards featured gameplay Thursday night. Ultramarine captain Titus (8 feet) was the star of the show. He is a genetically engineered killer machine.

This is the sequel from the studio behind World War Z, Titus is facing the Tyranids, an alien ravenous insect-like menace bent on devouring an Imperial hive planet. With low angles, even the character of the player seemed larger than life in the gameplay trailer. Most of the environments were outside as well, showcasing the grandeur of its architecture — which kindly houses a major source of the genetic diversity that the Tyranids need to expand their chitinous kingdom.

Relic Entertainment developed this cult-classic third-person shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Space MarineIn 2011, it was released. It told the story of Captain Titus and his campaign to save the Adeptus Mechanicus Forge World of Graia from a rampaging band of Orks — and allied Chaos Space Marines.

Space Marine 2The Xbox Series X is expected to be available on the PlayStation 5, Windows PC, or Xbox Series X sometime in 2023.
