Fallout 76 live-action fan trailer captures the best parts of the game

Fallout: 76 It has created a strong community since it was launched in 2018. Although the launch was not the best, Appalachia’s environments have proven to be a strong point since its inception. The game received later updates such as the WastelandersWest Virginia was given new life by expansion. There have been many loyal fans that have shared their love for the state, its challenges and successes. A fan made, live-action trailer by director Brian Curtis and the team from Infectious Designer is an incredible tribute to the best parts of Bethesda’s online game. (This fan made concept trailer is unrelated to Amazon’s TV adaptation of the Fallout franchise.)

Curtis writes in the video’s description:

“I get it. Fallout 76 had a rough launch, but it doesn’t discount the memorable experience of stepping out of Vault 76 for the first time and exploring the Appalachian wasteland with friends. The adventure was exciting, with the opportunity to build, explore and stop for epic photos amid all of it. If you’re willing to search for them, the world is beautiful. There’s definitely something s.p.e.c.i.a.l about this game. The inspiration that I saw in this video was captured on film.

The bloody wanderers and builders who saw beauty in the broken world.

With my husband, we have an ongoing relationship. Fallout: 76Although I don’t know the story, the vibe in the trailer was striking. Characters wear outfits that I’ve seen in the game, whether it’s scrapped together scavenger gear or a full suit of power armor. On my travels I met people similar to this, from Brotherhood zealots to mining entrepreneurs. The premise that people buy into was Fallout: 76Appalachia was alive in its early days.

The environments in this fan made trailer are also lush and vivid — rocky caverns teeming with life, claustrophobic mines, dusky forests, and Appalachian wilderness. It’s grounded with real world environments, with just a touch of Fallout’s fantastic premise.

Curtis posted also a behind-the scenes video that shows the costuming and creative process involved in making the fan film.

Even its most primitive, innocuous days Fallout: 76 really did have a fantastic atmosphere thanks to the environments and people you’d meet along the way. I definitely feel nostalgia for the moments of hanging out to guard my buddy’s shop in the hills of Appalachia, back when the game’s mechanics barely supported the set-up.

Fallout: 76It is moving forward; Bethesda will release Nuka World On Tour in December. This adds an additional traveling fairground to Appalachia.

Amazon is currently adapting Fallout into a television series. The details are not yet clear. So far, we’ve seen a still from the project, with more details shared in Xbox’s “Fallout 25th Anniversary Retrospective” YouTube video.
