MultiVersus Season 2 Now Live With New Map, Battle Pass, And Upcoming Character Teases

MultiVersus Season 2, which has a new map and battle pass, better network latency and tease information about the characters that will be joining it, is now live.

Developer Player First Games has provided details about Season 2 of MultiVersus. It looks like it packs quite the punch. After the addition of Rick Sanchez, Morty Smith and other players Rick and Morty near the end of Season 1, it seems classic cartoon character Marvin the Martian will be next to join the roster.

“New roster additions are incredibly exciting, so we figured we’d give you a bit of a tease of one of the new characters who will be joining the MVS roster in Season 2,” a blog post about the new season reads. Marvin, the Martian, is a Martian who was sent from Mars to devastate Earth using his Illudium Q36 Explosive Space Module. He will soon return to MultiVersus in yet another futile attempt to win. MultiVersus 2 brings a new map. Based on HBO Game of Thrones series, fans of the show will immediately recognize the iconic throne room of King’s Landing, complete with “all the hazards and pitfalls you’d come to expect from the land of Westeros.” A new version of “The Map” will be featured on this map. Player First Games announces that Season 2 will bring network and latency enhancements to the game.

The blog states that multi-path traffic acceleration was implemented to increase stability and latency. This will result in a significantly improved online experience for all players.

Season 2’s battle pass features new badges, icon/profile icons banners, and taunts. You can also find new characters on both the premium and free battle pass tracks, such as Baker Street Tom or Astronaut Velma. The Lava Breath and Toxic Explosion are two new ringouts.
