Xbox is now the owner of many franchises, games, and even some that have not been played in years. Xbox has the potential to revive or develop sequels for any game on this list.
Activision Blizzard’s CEO Bobby Kotick, for example, reportedly had an employee all-hands meeting this week where James Corden, a former late-night show host, interviewed him about the possibility of a Guitar Hero revival, among other things. Kotick is still Activision Blizzard’s CEO, and will be until the end the year. This was after Xbox chief Phil Spencer asked Kotick to assist with the company’s transition.
