We hope you’re in the Ridden-slaying spirit, because Back 4 Blood’s newest expansion, River of BloodJust in time for Christmas, the newest addition to Turtle Rock Studios’ catalog is now available. Turtle Rock Studios has added Act 6 to their campaign story. They also introduced a new Cleaner, along with an unlikely ally. There are new Ridden threats as well.
New story mission in the River of BloodExpanding puts Cleaners in a precarious situation. They must travel upriver stopping at various points to gather supplies, and confront new enemies. Five maps will cover the dangerous terrain and there are surprises at every turn. Those bold enough to crank up the difficulty for a challenge can certainly do so, but just don’t cry me a river if it’s too hard.
Every new version of the app comes with a different set of requirements. The Back Four BloodExpanding means new cleanable cleaners River of Blood adds Tala, a former Cultist–now outcast, with a unique perk that will surprise even the most battle-tested players. Tala is an ass-kicker and bow-wielding archer who has been able to escape the Children of the Worm’s control. A friendly Tallboy friend named Jeff is also a secret weapon she has. As long as Tala remains on the team, Jeff can also be summoned using the whistle. You can call Jeff to create chaos by picking up the whistle. It’s always a delight to experiment with how new characters complement each other and River of BloodThe expansion offers players more customization options. Eight exclusive character skins are included, as well as 12 new weapon skins.
Lastly, I’d be remiss to not mention today’s update also includes Trial of the Worm, a new cooperative PvE mode that is free for all The Back Four Blood owners. This mode allows players to follow a 4-map route while earning Supply points. Players can also increase their earnable amounts by choosing more difficult paths or adding corruption modifiers. You can increase the difficulty level to boost your score and the online leaderboard will track the top scores. The best players will win all the prizes. The Back Four Blood bragging rights.

River of Blood introduces a new Act 6 story campaign. Five map missions take players along a journey upriver to find supplies, and then defeat enemies. The expansion introduces “Tala,” a former Cultist Outcast now turned Cleaner. Accompanying her is her companion “Jeff,” a friendly Tallboy who is summoned when using the whistle which will spawn somewhere in the map when Tala is on the team and whistled for by Tala or other Cleaners. When Jeff is called, Jeff can cause the most mayhem. River of Blood contains eight unique character skins and twelve exclusive weapon skins. There are also new weapons and accessories.
River of Blood has also been updated with a Trial of the Worm option. Trial of the Worm, a co-operative multiplayer PvE game that is free for all players, allows players to choose the path they want down four maps and earn points. To increase their points, players can vote for the next map and add corruption modifiers. To earn glory spots in the leaderboards, players must complete all four maps.

A cooperative campaign
You must fight your way through an ever-changing, dangerous world with a four player co-op campaign. You can play with as many friends online as you like, or solo to lead your group in battle.
You can choose from eight customizable Cleaners or one of the immune survivors. There are also a variety of lethal weapons. Defend yourself against an evolving enemy intent on total destruction.
Competitive Multiplayer
In PVP, you can play with friends or against them. You can switch between being a Cleaner and the Ridden, which offer special perks. Each side comes with its own weapons, specialties, and abilities.
Extreme Replayability
You can create new experiences with the “rogue-lite Card System”. This allows you to roll custom builds, make your own decks, or take on more challenging fights.
The Game Director is constantly adjusting to player actions, ensuring exciting fights, extreme gameplay diversity, and tougher legions of Ridden – including mutated boss types up to 20 feet tall.
