How James Bond’s Thrilling Chase Scenes Inspired Swordship

Hi Everyone, it’s Sandro, Game Designer at Digital Kingdom. Let me give you a brief overview of how our game was made. Swordship and the things we’ve learned to take the concept of dodging to whole new level…buckle up!

Let’s start here, the initial idea for SwordshipBen, our artist. Ben, our artist wanted to make a game that felt like an action scene from a James Bond film. It should be as if the player is being chased by enemy soldiers without having to fire back. Let’s make something so intense that it makes you hold your breath and you can feel the water on your face! It’s been four years since we were able to bring you to. SwordshipThe rogue-like, with very little shooting and plenty of water. It’s all about skill and precision. You must not only avoid enemy fire but also trick them into taking out each other.

To understand SwordshipConsider these things: Into BreachMixed with Wipeout. The tactical gameplay, and the rogue-like architecture of The BreachAt the speed of Wipeout. The game is designed so each run offers a unique challenge. Although the initial game may have simple enemies to defeat, you will be able unlock new features as your score increases. These include weather conditions, activate powers for your Swordship and new enemies that attack with electricity or fire. There are many other options, too.

The key feature of SwordshipThe delivery method is it. The game lets you be the Robin Hood of tomorrow. In order to help the poor you will need to steal containers from the riches. We want the player to feel like giving is better than losing. You will be asked to decide whether you wish to keep or sell your containers for extra life and upgrade points. If you keep them, your chances of finishing the game will rise. If you give them away, your chances of making it to the top of the leaderboards are higher. You decide what you will choose.

With SwordshipOur goal is to provide you with a fair and challenging experience. While the game may not be fair, it will reward your efforts.
