Baldur’s Gate 3 Druid Class Spells, Features, and Subclasses

Baldurs Gate 3Choose from 12 classes to create your character. There are 12 different classes to choose from when creating your character. DruidIt is a special caster that uses nature magic, or the magic of nature gods.

They are versatile spellcasters. The Druid has a wide range of offensive and defensive spells, as well as some healing. However, starting at Level 2, the ability to Wild Shape in animals is available for close combat. They have a primary stat of You can also read about Wisdom.

Features of the Druid Class

You can also use Hit Points to calculate your score.

  • Hit Dice — Druids: 1d8 for every level
  • At 1st level, the Hit Points are at a maximum of 100. — 8 + your Constitution modifier
  • Increased Hit Points — 5 + your Constitution modifer per Druid level after 1st

Spells

The Cleric begins with 2 cantrips and 2 Spell slots of level 1.

  • Weapons — Clubs, Daggers, Javelins, Maces, Quarterstaffs, Scimitars, Sickles, Spears
  • Armor — Light Armor, Medium Armor, Shields

Druid spells

Druids begin with the two most basic cantrips on their list.

Produce Flame When thrown, a flame from your hand will shed light on a 30-foot radius.
Resistance Save Throws are given a 1d4 boost to increase the resistance of a spell’s effects or conditions.
Shillelagh You can make your staff or club magical
Thorn Whip Pulls target closer by 10 feet

Each long rest also gives Druids two slots for level one spells. The list is 14 spells long, and they can prepare only four of them.

Make or destroy water Bring on the rains or destroy any water-based surfaces
Charm Person You can charm a humanoid so that it does not attack you. In dialogue, you gain an advantage on Charisma checks.
Entangle Slow down the creatures by creating a surface of vines.
Fog Cloud Clouds can obscure and blind creatures up to 15ft away
Goodberry The magical berries will heal 1d4 of your hit points.
Faerie Fire The Attack Rolls that are made against all targets in the visible area have an Advantage.
Longstrider The movement speed of a creature is increased by 10ft.
Ice Knife Toss a piece of ice which deals 1d10 Pierce damage. It then explodes, dealing 2d6 COLD damage within a circle 7ft in radius.
Thunderwave You can release a wave of forceful thunder that will push all objects and creatures away for 2d8 damage from Thunder (CON save)
Heal Wounds The 1d8+3 Healing
Healing Word The 1d4+3 Healing
Enhance Leap Triple a creature’s jumping distance
Animals can speak to you Learn to understand and communicate with animals
Animal Friendship Persuade a beast to not attack you

Druid subclasses

Druids select their subclass at Level 2.

The new class is available to all subclasses Wild Shape ActionThis spell allows your druid to magically transform into a creature from the list below:

  • Badger (Burrow in the ground)
  • Spider (Enweb enemies)
  • The WolfIncite your allies to action and distract enemies from their plans
  • Cat Avoid attention by distracting enemies

Circle of the Land

Circle of the Land Druids allows you to experience the power of the land.

Circle of the Land Druids receive one more Cantrip. Natural Recovery Every long rest allows you to refill your spell slots.

Circle of the Moon

Circle of the Mood Druids place more emphasis on Wild Shapes. Circle of the Moon Druids has an extra Wild Shape. Polar BearYou can use this to Get your enemies to Attack.

When in Wild Shape you receive the Lunar MendSpends one spell slot for hitpoints.

Circle of the Spores

Druids Circle of Spores Druids concentrate on the returning to Earth part of the circular life.

The more you gain, the better. Bone Chill Cantrip that deals 1d8 Necrotic damage and imposes Disadvantage on the target’s next Attack Roll. Also, you get the Halo of SporesAs a response, deal 1d4 Necrotic Damage. Symbiotic EntityAction: (gain temporary 8 hit points, and deal 1d6 additional Necrotic damage).
