New Dead by Daylight games are on the way, including one by Supermassive

Dead by Daylight just celebrated its seven year anniversary, and Behaviour Interactive showed off the game’s next chapter on an anniversary stream. However, there’s more to come, and not all of it is in Dead by Daylight itself.

There are two new games in development in the United States. Dead by Daylight universe. Supermassive Games is the best-known developer. Till DawnThe Dark Pictures Anthology Quarry. The other is by Midwinter Entertainment, who are working on a multiplayer co-op game that “will tackle themes of greed and lust for power.”

Dead by DaylightThe game is an asymmetrical one where the four survivors must repair a gate, escape and fix it before being caught and impaled by a killer on a rusty screw. Matches take place on an extradimensional plane ruled by the Entity – a malignant spider god that feeds from despair and suffering. Survivors must keep the hope of escaping their fate and avoid being devoured.

Supermassive’s games are typically heavy on the narrative, with regular choices and quick-time events to keep things interesting. Those choices can end in grisly fates or a lucky escape, and it’s not always clear what is the right thing to do. More information on this game will come out before the end of the year, so we’ll likely learn more about which characters will be involved in the game and what challenges they’ll face.

Midwinter Entertainment has passed ScavengersThe game was a co-op that lasted only a few years. Small squads were launched to the surface of the moon and searched for precious supplies. Behaviour Interactive acquired Midwinter by 2022. They are a part of the same family as Dead by Daylight’s dating simulator, will provide an alternate take on the mysterious lore of the horror game. Behaviour has also created a comic with Titan Comics, which is due to be released in June. A feature film version of Dead by Daylight Blumhouse is a great movie. The Dead by DaylightSetting is becoming a universe of misery.
