Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s final trailer debuts April 13

The final and third trailer. Tears of the Kingdom: Zelda’s Legend drops Thursday, Nintendo has revealed, teasing one more look at Link and Zelda’s new adventure in a post-Take a deep breath of the wild Hyrule. Nintendo has chosen to livestream rather than just drop the trailer. It could be an indication that Nintendo intends to stream the trailer live, instead of dropping it at once.

This is the most current look Legend of ZeldaTears from the Kingdom arrived in March, when Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma dropped a 10-minute look at Link’s new abilities. Nintendo showcased brand new powers Recall and Fuse as well as Ultrahand and Ascend in an extended gameplay preview. Recall lets Link rewind object movement, which is handy for traveling to Hyrule’s sky islands; weapon fusing lets Link make new weapons out of objects, like fusing a stick and a rock to make a hammer; Ultrahand, which glues objects together, can be used to make contraptions like DIY cars and aircraft; and Ascend is a tool allowing Link to move through ceilings.
