Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players are bullying Koroks
Take note: Tears of the Kingdom: The Legend of ZeldaIt was only released last Friday. Players are now posting video of their evil exploits to the internet. TikTok has viral videos that show how the builders in the game can use the elements to their advantage.
Koroks — and their seeds — are back in Tears Of The Kingdom. Hyrule has literally hundreds. While some are hidden in places, others can now be seen. You will find that they are carrying a ridiculously huge adventure pack, which is multiples the size of their bodies. The Koroks strapped into the bag, so when Link finds them tipped over, they’re helpless and unable to get back up. The Koroks look like insects flipped on their backs. So, in other words, they’re already an easy target.
Link’s new Ultrahand power allows him to glue together objects and construct larger structures. He can’t use these powers on living creatures, but he can use them on inanimate objects. Link can use the ability to adhere the Koroks’ bags, and therefore the Koroks themselves, to a larger structure.
This is still a sandbox, so fans have taken advantage of the fact that they can bully Koroks. A person created a Korok Rotisserie using an extra-long stick and some open fires.
One player wanted to strap 10 rockets together in order to fire the Korok into the kingdom of heaven.
The videos seem to have been made to exact revenge on the tedious and numerous Korok puzzles that are required in order to gather all of the seeds. This video depicts a Korok being burned at the stake.
I don’t know what to think of it all. It’s a little cruel. Sure, collecting so many seeds is tedious, but it’s not the Korok’s fault. It’s all making me think that Link could be the real supervillain after all.
