You Can Finally Play As A Horse In Among Us During April Fools’ Day Only

It’s obvious that April Fool’s Day can make it difficult to believe any announcements about games. (Not that we aren’t careful either), but this gag is actually true. Innersloth has made a joke into a real thing by introducing the Horse Mode to their site.

For today only, this free update twists Among Us’ crewmates into galloping four-legged versions of themselves. This idea is based on a picture of the original, but still-hypothetical concept that was tweeted in April and posted below. 

These spacefaring stallions are more than just visual gags. They come with an Innersloth programmers recorded a “neigh sound effect” and an Imposter kill animation. But horses cannot wear visors or caps. You might be still a little wary. I have booted up Among Us and can verify that this is a true thing.

Innersloth has announced that Horse Mode will cease on April 2nd at Midnight UTC. That translates to today at 8. ET. You’ll need to get some buddies to join you if your feeling horsey.
