Xbox Insider Release Notes – Delta (2310.231009-2200)

Hey Xbox Insiders. A new Xbox Update preview is coming soon to the Delta Ring. It’s important we note that some updates made in these preview OS builds include background improvements that ensure a quality and stable build for Xbox consoles.

We continue to post these release notes, even when the noticeable changes to the UI are minimal, so you’re aware when updates are coming to your device. Below are the details!

System Update Details:

• OS Released Version: XB_FLT_2310ZN25398.2504.231009-2200
• Available: 3 p.m. PT – October 12, 2023
• Mandatory: 3 a.m. PT – October 13, 2023

Fixed

The following fixes were implemented in this build, thanks to Xbox’s engineers.

Enjoy the Games

• The fix for an unwanted cursor, which was visible in certain titles during gameplay.

It is not a good system.

• Updates to reflect the local language across consoles.

There are known issues

Some issues may have already been addressed in prior Xbox Insider Release notes. These items aren’t being ignored, but it will take Xbox engineers more time to find a solution.

Audio

• Users have reported intermittent audio issues across dashboards, games and apps. Check your firmware for any issues you may have. If you’re unsure, you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance.
  • Please Note:: If you continue to experience issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please submit feedback via Report a Problem immediately with the “Reproduce with advanced diagnostics” option, then select the category “Console experiences” and “Console Audio Output Issues”. Please include as many details as possible.
    • What was the initial cause of your problem?
    • Is the audio only in your game/app, or is it also system audio?
    • Is it possible to fix the problem by changing the format of the audio? What was the audio format prior to and after changing?
    • Is rebooting the system a solution?
    • What’s included in your setup? Equipment, layout, etc.
    • You can also provide additional information to try and reproduce the error.

Enjoy the Games

• There is a known issue causing unanticipated steering wheel vibrations in some games. We will fix this in the next update.

Xbox Controller Keyboard Mapping

• After quitting or restarting the console, your changes will appear if you make any keyboard language adjustments while using the Xbox Accessories application.

Networking

• We’re investigating reports that the console might not be able to connect with their network at boot. If you experience this, be sure to report the issue via Report a Problem as soon as you’re able.

Be sure to use Report a problem to keep us informed of your issue. We may not be able to respond to everyone, but the data we’ll gather is crucial to finding a resolution.
