Xbox Insider Release Notes – Delta (2310.231005-2200)

Hey Xbox Insiders. The Delta ring will soon be receiving a brand new Xbox Update. It’s important we note that some updates made in these preview OS builds include background improvements that ensure a quality and stable build for Xbox consoles.

We continue to post these release notes, even when the noticeable changes to the UI are minimal, so you’re aware when updates are coming to your device. Below are the details!

System Update Details:

• OS Released Version: XB_FLT_2310ZN25398.2488.231005-2200
• Available: 3 p.m. PT – October 10, 2023
• Mandatory: 3 a.m. PT – October 11, 2023

The Fixes Have Been Implemented

We are pleased to announce that the following improvements have been made to this build thanks to the efforts of Xbox engineers:

Installation

• Microsoft Store stuck on 100% after updating/installing? Fixes.

Manage Queue

• Fixed an issue where the border around “When games and apps are installing, you’ll see them here” could extend off-screen.

Use a mouse and keyboard

• Some titles supported by this update have been updated to fix mouse clicks that don’t behave as expected.

• The console has been updated to correctly reflect all local languages.

Problems that are already known

Some issues may have already been addressed in prior Xbox Insider Release notes. These items aren’t being ignored, but it will take Xbox engineers more time to find a solution.

Audiences can be heard by clicking on the following link:

• There have been reports that users are experiencing audio problems intermittently across all dashboards, apps, and games. You may have encountered issues if your TV, or any other piece of equipment is not up to date. If you’re unsure, you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance.
  • Please Note:: If you continue to experience issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please submit feedback via Report a Problem immediately with the “Reproduce with advanced diagnostics” option, then select the category “Console experiences” and “Console Audio Output Issues”. Please include as many details as possible.
    • What was the initial cause of your problem?
    • Is the audio only in your game/app, or is it also system audio?
    • If yes, does changing the audio format solve the problem? What was the audio format prior to and after changing?
    • Rebooting the computer fixes this issue?
    • What’s included in your setup? Equipment, layout, etc.
    • Please provide any other information that you may have to help reproduce the issue.

Enjoy the Games

• The reports we have received about an unwanted cursor appearing during play in certain titles is being investigated.
  • WorkaroundIf your console is connected to a mouse, then you can either move it away from the screen or unplug the device.

Xbox Controllers: Keyboard button mapping

• After quitting or restarting the console, your changes will appear if you make changes to your keyboard settings in the Xbox Accessories application.

Networking

• Reports indicate that consoles may not boot up to the network correctly. If you experience this, be sure to report the issue via Report a Problem as soon as you’re able.
• WorkaroundWait one minute until your console connects. If your console still hasn’t connected, restart your Xbox from the Power Center or the guide. You can learn more about how to reboot or power cycle an Xbox by clicking here.
