World of Warcraft: Dragonflight pre-patch release dates revealed
Blizzard has announced that the traditional pre-expansion patch for World of Warcraft will come in two phases ahead of the release of the game’s ninth expansion, Dragonflight. Pre-patches bring new features to the game and make gameplay adjustments before you actually get an expansion.
The pre-patch’s first phase will go live on October 25th. The pre-patch phase is focused on the features available to everyone. WoW players. The talent system is getting a revamp, with talent trees being reintroduced for the first time since 2012’s Mists in Pandaria expansion. New accessibility features and a new look will be available. As the priest, rogue and mage classes become available for all races for first time, new class combinations and race combinations are possible. And there’ll be a new ranked player-versus-player mode in the form of Rated Solo Shuffle.
The second phase, which begins on November 15, will be for players who have already pre-purchased Dragonflight You will be able to access the Dracthyr Evoker class and race. This is the first combination locked of class and race to be featured in WoW — only members of the Dracthyr race can be Evokers, and no other classes are available to them — Evokers start at level 58, just shy of the pre-expansion level cap of 60, and can specialize in ranged damage or healing. The Forbidden Reach is their new starting area.
On Nov. 15, players also have access to Uldaman Legacy of Tyr, a brand new dungeon. Primal Storm quests, world events, and other activities will start setting the scene for the Dragonflight storyline.
DragonflightLaunched on November 28, the Dragon Isles continent is introduced. It offers a new type of Dragonriding flight, overhauls of professions and much more.
