Wonder Woman roller coaster coming to Six Flags Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain is located in Southern California and holds the record for having 19 roller coasters. A new Wonder Woman coaster will increase that count next year to a nice even 20, joining other DC rides such as Batman: The Ride, Superman: Escape from Krypton, and The Riddler’s Revenge.

“This is an historic milestone for our park as we introduce the latest addition to our unrivaled coaster dynasty, Wonder Woman Flight of Courage. Not only is this a record-breaking single-rail coaster, it brings Six Flags Magic Mountain’s coaster count to an unprecedented twenty, the most in the world,” said Park President Don McCoy in a press release.

The announcement comes right on time for Wonder Woman Day — and the 80th anniversary of the iconic superheroine’s debut. Wonder Woman Flight of Courage will join the park’s DC-themed area in the summer of 2022. The new coaster will be the world’s tallest, fastest single-rail coaster, sweeping riders up to 13 story heights, with three inversions at 58 miles-per-hour. The new entrance will feature a theme inspired by Greek architecture.
