Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega might take on Beetlejuice 2 with Tim Burton

Look out, young aspiring Goths — your new queen might get another role to solidify her as master of the macabre.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega could reunite with Tim Burton and star in Beetlejuice 2. It would be the sequel to 1988’s movie, starring Winona Ryder & Michael Keaton. Original BeetlejuiceLydia Ryder (a melancholic, but edgy teenager) moved into an old house haunted and was followed by her husband. After some shenanigans she and Alec Baldwin (Geena and Alec) summon Beetlejuice (Keaton), a wicked demon.

Rumor has it that Ortega might play Lydia’s daughter. Burton is directing. Keaton will also be returning. There has been some talk about a sequel. BeetlejuiceNone have appeared for many years. The movie was instead made into an animated series, and then a musical.
