The Outlast Trials Enters PC Early Access In May

On May 18, the Outlast Trials 3, the third entry of the horror series, will open for PC Early Access. 

The news is revealed in an unusual way in this trailer. It features voice actors recording horrifying screams and grunts to frighten players. Red Barrels provided players with a first taste of the game during a closed beta in October 2018. The ETA for the full release remains shrouded in mystery, however. 

You can play alone or with friends, but you will be able to play in four-player cooperative play. It takes place in the Cold War era, where players control involuntary subjects who are tortured and beaten in horrifying experiments. You must avoid being attacked by your enemies. However, tools can be upgraded to increase or decrease the chances of you staying hidden. 

The Outlast Trials can be accessed early on Steam or The Epic Store.
