Wonder Seeds: Tips on where to find them

Nearly all levels will award you with a Wonder seed for reaching the flagpole. To find all the Wonder Seeds, you will need to do a little more exploration.

Wonder Flowers

The Wonder Flower is available in most levels. This special flower triggers a trippy reframing of the current level — sometimes the gravity disappears or you enter a twilight realm or multihued bubbles will carry you into the sky. The Wonder Seed is often the final sequence in many of these Wonder Flower levels.

Wonder Seeds can be found in certain levels.

There are levels that have an additional Wonder Seed hidden beyond those listed on the level map. Collecting these Wonder Seeds often unlocks a new path to previously hidden levels — and more Wonder Seeds. We’ll note levels that require finding a hidden Wonder Seed in the list below.

Sensor Badge: Buy Now

When you reach W5 Fungi Mines, you’ll be able to buy a special Badge from the Poplin Shop there — the Sensor Badge. The badge will sound when it is close to special pick-ups such as 10 Flower Coins or Wonder Flowers.


W2 Fluff-Puff Peaks Wonder Seed locations

Outmaway Valley

You can find a variety of different kinds Three Wonder SeedsYou can also find them in Outmaway Valley. You’ll have to play it twice to collect all three.

You’ll receive the first for completing the level normally (without collecting the Wonder Flower).

Near the end of the level, you’ll pass a couple of crooked pipes. Just to your right, there is a big iceblock. Smash it open to find this level’s Wonder Flower.

You can only collect two Wonder Flowers by riding the snowball.

You’ll receive the third for completing the level at this new flagpole.

Pokipede Pass

You can find a variety of different kinds two Wonder SeedsPokipede Pass: To collect.

After the checkpoint, you’ll have to get past a couple more Pokipedes. Let the third get past you, and it’ll destroy the blocks preventing you from reaching the Wonder Flower.

Grab it and make your way to the right through the blizzard, before moving up and leftward to find the Wonder Seed.

You’ll receive the second Wonder Seed for completing the level.

Condarts, Away!

You can find a variety of different kinds two Wonder SeedsCondarts Away: What you can find!

Near the end of the level, you’ll come to an icy platform with a pair of yellow pipes on the right. Wall jump up to the platforms above you to find this level’s Wonder Flower.

This will start a bird’s-eye view section. Condarts can be used to break any block in your path until you get to the Wonder Seed. You can use the Condarts to destroy the blocks in the middle of the screen.

You’ll receive the second Wonder Seed for completing the level.

Pole Block Passage

You can find a variety of different kinds two Wonder SeedsIn the Pole Block Passage, you can collect.

Before the level ends, the talking flower will indicate a strange-looking block on the top screen. The Wonder Flower is on that block.

Use the poles and collect the five Wonder Tokens in order to find the Wonder Seed.

You’ll receive the second for completing the level.

Up ‘n’ Down with Puffy Lifts

You can find a variety of different kinds two Wonder Seeds to find in Up ‘n’ Down with Puffy Lifts.

A bit past the checkpoint, you’ll come to a pipe dropping Goombrats onto a large Puffy Lift. Continue jumping and hopping onto the Puffy Lift. As soon as the Goombrats fall, take them out and keep on jumping.

Once it reaches a high altitude, you can jump onto the ledges to continue the climb up the Wonder Flower. Use the spikes to clear the way to the Wonder Seed.

You’ll receive the second Wonder Seed for completing the level.

Jump! Jump! Jump!

You can find a variety of different kinds two Wonder SeedsJump! Jump! Jump!

For this level, you’ll have to sprint and jump across platforms in time to the music. You’ll receive the first Wonder seed at the end of the song.

You’ll receive the second for completing the level.

Countdown for Dropdown

Two are available Wonder Seeds Collect in the Countdown To Drop Down.

A little past the checkpoint, you’ll ride a large platform past this level’s Wonder Flower. A little to the right, there’re some blocks that’ll let you take out the Lakitu that’s been harassing you. Take the cloud to collect the Wonder Flower.

You’ll be able to collect the first Wonder Seed during the skydiving sequence that follows.

You’ll receive the second for completing the level.

Cruise with the Linking Lifts

Immediately after the checkpoint, hit the blue flower above the Question Mark Blocks to reveal this level’s Wonder Flower.

You must survive an attack by the Lakitu trio and collect all five Wonder Tokens. You’ll collect the Wonder Seed at the end of the ride.

You’ll receive the second Wonder Seed for completing the level.

This level’s Wonder Flower sequence has you getting targeted by a distant gun. If you spot the Wonder Flower, you’ll want to use your targeting reticle so that it destroys the block.

A little past the checkpoint, you’ll come to a pair of pipes spitting fireballs separated by a platform. Hit the blue flower to reveal the Wonder Flower, but it’ll show up under the platform.

The Wonder Flower will be pushed up on the platform by jumping onto the pipe next to you.

To collect the Wonder Seed, you must survive the Twilight Wonder Flower.

You’ll receive the Royal Seed for defeating Bowser Jr.

KO Arena: Fluff-Puff Kerfluff

Defeat the three waves of cloud enemies, Condarts, and Hammer Bros to collect this level’s Wonder Seed.

Search Party: Puzzling Park

You’ll have to find five hidden Wonder Tokens to reveal this level’s Wonder Seed.

You will find a number of blocks hidden above the bridge in the very beginning of this level. You can use any character to hit these blocks, so be sure to expose them all in order for you collect your first Wonder Token.

The second Wonder Token is hidden in a block about four blocks wide from the end of the level. There’s another hidden block about four block-widths from the left end that contains the second Wonder Token.

The third Wonder Token can be collected by using the Super Mushrooms you dropped from the pipes.

The fourth Wonder Token can be found by dropping the gap in the lower right corner.

Two platforms are located on the right. Standing on the lowest platform, against the wall to the right. A hidden vine block is revealed by jumping up. It is a stairway that you can climb to get the Wonder Token.

When you have collected all five, the Wonder Seed will be revealed.

Dodge the ice blocks that the Outmaway is kicking to collect this level’s Wonder Seed.

Break Time: Cloud Cover

You can climb the levels using the Pole Blocks, clearing the cloud as you move. To get the Wonder Seed, collect all five Wonder Tokens.

Break Time Zip-Go-Round

The Wonder Seed is revealed when you collect all five Wonder Tokens.

Fluff-Puff Peaks Cabin

You’ll receive a Wonder Seed for visiting Fluff-Puff Peaks Cabin.

Poplin Shop 1,

Poplin Shop offers one Wonder Seed per 100 flower coins.

Poplin Shop 2.

Poplin Shop offers one Wonder Seed per 100 flower coins.
