Find Wonder Seeds

Fast every level rewards you with a Wonder seed just for completing it. To find all the Wonder Seeds, you will need to do a little more exploration.

Wonder Flowers

The Wonder Flower is available in most levels. This special flower triggers a trippy reframing of the current level — sometimes the gravity disappears or you enter a twilight realm or multihued bubbles will carry you into the sky. The Wonder Seed is often the final sequence in many of these Wonder Flower levels.

Wonder Seeds are available in some levels.

There are levels that have an additional Wonder Seed hidden beyond those listed on the level map. Collecting these Wonder Seeds often unlocks a new path to previously hidden levels — and more Wonder Seeds. We’ll note levels that require finding a hidden Wonder Seed in the list below.

Sensor Badge: Buy Now

When you reach W5 Fungi Mines, you’ll be able to buy a special Badge from the Poplin Shop there — the Sensor Badge. The badge will sound when it is close to special pick-ups such as 10 Flower Coins or Wonder Flowers.

Hop, Hop and Awaaay: The Hoppycat Trial

You can find a variety of different kinds two Wonder SeedsTo collect in The Hoppycat Trial : Hop, Hop, Awaaay.

A bit past the checkpoint, you’ll pass over a bridge and under a moving platform that’s just out of reach. You can get the Hoppycat to jump off the bridge and onto the platform. Once it’s on the platform, you need to make the Hoppycat jump and strike the Question Mark Block. The Wonder Flower will be dropped.

As soon as you get to the exit pipe that is blocked, use the Hoppycat to leap onto the platform and go up or down. It can be used to go even further.

Use the Hoppycats (and any flowers) to continue climbing until you discover the Wonder Seed.

You’ll receive the second Wonder Seed for completing the level.

Anglefish Trial Ready, aim, fly!

Near the end of the level, you’ll pass under the Wonder Flower floating above you. Jumping Anglefish will help you reach it.

Use the Anglefish again to reach the highest clouds. Collect the Wonder Seed.

You’ll receive the second Wonder Seed for completing the level.

Hop to It!

As you approach the checkpoint the Hoppycat in glowing form will be directly above you. Wait for the Hoppycat to return down after you jump. Jump again to hit it from below just as it lands (so it doesn’t jump away from you again) and it will drop the Wonder Flower.

To collect the Wonder Seed, Hoppycat Mario must bounce to the very top of the stage.

You’ll receive the second Wonder Seed when you complete the level.

Sharp Trial – Launch for Victory

After this level’s checkpoint, you’ll hop onto a red platform. A few seconds later, you’ll come to a Question Mark Block by some clouds along the bottom of the screen. The Wonder Flower will appear when you use the Hoppycat to knock it down.

As Hoppycat Mario, you can collect the flowers as you climb. You’ll find the first Wonder Seed at the top of the level.

You can collect the Wonder Seed by completing the Level.

Sugarstar Trial: Across the Night Sky

You’ll see this level’s Wonder Flower right at the beginning. To collect the Wonder Flower, head right and run to the left through the wave of enemies that look like crystalline mines.

Grab the Wonder Seed by rushing to the right, through the Super Star Shower.

You’ll get the second for completing the level immediately after.

Zip Track Dash: The Final Trial

You can find a variety of different kinds two Wonder SeedsThe Final Trial Zip Track Dash.

The Wonder Flower is not too far into this level — it’s well before the checkpoint. But since you’re on Zip Tracks the whole time, it’s easy to miss. Look for the first 10 flowers coin. Just past it, you’ll come to a section of Zip Track that raises up. Make sure you jump on top of it, and you’ll grab the Wonder Flower.

You’ll play as Hoppycat Mario on a different series of Zip Tracks, and you’ll collect the first Wonder Seed at the end.

You’ll get the second Wonder Seed for completing the level.

Poof! Badge Challenge Crouching High-Jump 1

Complete the Crouching High Jump Badge challenge to collect this level’s Wonder Seed.

The Search Party: An Empty Park

As soon as you enter the “empty” arena, start jumping to reveal some hidden Question Mark Blocks and the first Wonder Token. There are actually more than the blocks we showed in our image.

Climb up the initial blocks and you will find a second Wonder Token.

You will find a block on the way to your second token that creates a vertical platform. Jump on the platform and hop to discover another block hidden at its top. The horizontal block will create a second platform.

Next, two blocks hidden will reveal the rainstorm. The third Wonder Token is also revealed.

Swim up to the top of the first rainstorm to find two more hidden blocks — another raincloud and the fourth Wonder Token.

About halfway up that rainstorm on the right, there’s another hidden block. This one will create another storm on the left.

Just below the cloud on the left side of that storm, you’ll find one last hidden block and the fifth Wonder Token.

When you collect the Wonder Seed, it will be revealed.

Starting about three block-widths to the left of the yellow pipe, you’ll find five hidden blocks. Then climb to the top. There’s another row of three, and, above that, one more. The Wonder Seed can be collected by using these to leap over the pipe.

As the water drains, collect the five Wonder Tokens and reveal the Wonder Seed.

Use the Timer Switches to keep the blocks activated — an remember you can hit them from above with Ground Pounds — as you climb to the top of the level for a Wonder Seed.

Use the Timer Switches throughout the level to keep the blocks under your feet and you’ll collect a Wonder Seed at the end of the level.

Master Poplin’s House

You’ll receive a Wonder Seed for visiting Master Poplin’s House.

Royal Seed Mansion

You’ll receive a Wonder Seed for visiting the Royal Seed Mansion.
