Vtuber Ironmouse hosts a sleep stream during a subathon with avatar

Generally speaking, “subathons,” marathon streams where content creators stream nonstop for days on end, are strenuous affairs. While the event can bring in subscribers, it is hard work to stream every day, even while they are sleeping at night. Ironmouse is a genius streamer who has created a way around. She simply streams her avatar, and doesn’t need to livestream any of her body.

She can do this because she’s a virtual YouTuber (Vtuber), a term for a content creator who uses a virtual model of a character to stream, instead of showing their actual face with a camera. Ironmouse’s design has pink and purple hair, with horns. Twitch’s adorable and demon-like character, Ironmouse, streams for VShojo. The character will follow the movements of Ironmouse’s head as they talk.

Vtubers layer objects onto their models in order to create new environments. Vtubers may have previously layered images on top of their characters to give the impression that they are wearing different clothes or sets. This is similar to a hot-tub. Ironmouse made her own bed. Ironmouse made a bed for her character when she went to sleep. On stream, she can talk to her friends and stream videos (like anime) for viewers.

It’s a genius way to deal with an arduous affair. Ironmouse was at day five in her stream when this story was written. Ludwig Ahgren was just a streamer when he completed his subathon record. He kept the camera on him all night in a small race car bed. Ironmouse is now able to simply go to sleep, wake up, and begin streaming again.
