Vermintide 2’s Geheimnisnacht event is now live, with seasonal rewards

The holiday of Geheimnisnacht is the Warhammer Fantasy equivalent of Halloween, and it’s appropriate that Vermintide 2 Players get an in-game new event to commemorate the Halloween season. Geheimnisnacht Update also includes an update to Chaos WastesGrudge Marks is an expansion that makes things more difficult.

The Geheimnisnacht event runs until Nov. 7 and includes ritual sites that spawn throughout the levels Righteous Stand, Enchanter’s Lair, Screaming Bell, Old Haunts, and Empire in Flames. Either players can engage in rituals and attempt to obtain the Skull of Blasphoros, or they can avoid them altogether. Theft of skulls and ritual sites add risk but offer seasonal rewards.

However, Grudge Marks are an addition that can be used to permanently improve the game. Players might notice two spear-wielding monsters as they travel through the Chaos Wastes. The Grudge Marked monsters are equipped with new defense and offense abilities, but they also have new challenges which encourage the team to continue their journey.
