Critical Role Campaign 3: meet the characters

Their brief absence for the Exandria Unlimited Critical Role Campaign Three, a series of eight parts, marks the return to larger campaigns than the one-hour shows. Matt Mercer (American Dad, Overwatch!(*()He returns as Dungeon Master, having previously been Dariax Zaveon. Things are just getting started with only one episode. While we don’t yet know the overall story, it is clear that there are many fun characters. Campaign Three is set on Marquet. It’s a gorgeous and diverse continent that includes scorching deserts as well as tropical jungle land and twisty mountain ranges. Marquet brings us one of the most interesting locations in Critical Role’s history: The bustling city of Jrusar, where our story begins, described by Mercer as “five tower-like mountains that reach for the heavens … a singular city connected by bridge and cable.” It’s a truly distinct metropolis that provides a dynamic backdrop to this campaign.
