Untangle a Web of Lies in Sea of Thieves’ Twelfth Adventure, ‘A Dark Deception’, Live Until July 6!

Over the past few months there has been a tenuous peace in Sea of Thieves, but once more something sinister begins to create waves. Larinna’s only directive is to tell you that someone needs to talk to you urgently. To find out what’s really going on, you’ll need to join this emerging cause and dive into Sea of Thieves’ latest Adventure, ‘A Dark Deception’.

This is the Story So Far

Our latest Adventures Ahead feature recaps previous stories-based Adventures which sent players to the Sea of Thieves where they faced skeletons. Sirens. and their fellow sailors. They’ve rallied to the defence of Golden Sands Outpost and its inhabitants, rescued a fallen hero, witnessed the return of one of the most notorious pirates the sea has ever known, and, most recently, set out in search of a cure for a skeletal curse.

This limited time experience has changed the way we see and interact with each other. Sea of Thieves. Golden Sands is now the magnificent Port Merrick. Pendragon, Flameheart, and Briggsy are all back from the depths of the sea. In a state of precarious balance, the seas now have the Dark Brethren in pursuit of an Ancient Temple while Captain Flameheart’s forces and those of the Pirate Master are engaged in battles on the sea.

There are many secrets to be found

But now, there is another disturbance that’s causing waves. Larinna is dispatching pirates to a mysterious meeting on an island chain so remote it doesn’t even have a name. There is only one certainty: Something vital is on its way to being captured by evil. Your crew is needed to complete this mission.

You can play this Adventure until July 6th. It will challenge your friendships, and you’ll have to face uncomfortable decisions while you unravel the mystery of this threat. To manage it, you’ll need to rely on the help of your friends in the Order of Souls, no matter what it takes. But be very careful; not everything is as it seems…
