The Quarry is Supermassive’s new Until Dawn-style horror game
Until DawnDeveloper Supermassive Games has revealed the next project. QuarryOn Thursday, you can play a horror-themed teen game that features a group of Hollywood actors. 2K Games has published QuarryThis summer.
Quarry imagines a summer camp experience gone horribly wrong, where nine playable teenage counselors of Hackett’s Quarry summer camp find themselves hunted by sinister locals and a deadly predator. You are the star of this movie QuarryDavid ArquetteScream), Ariel Winter (Modern FamilyJustice Smith (Pokémon Detective Pikachu), Brenda Song (Dollface), Lance Henriksen (AliensLin ShayeIt’s insidious).

QuarryThe large variety of characters available makes it look like fun and campy. Much like Supermassive’s other series, The Dark Pictures Anthology, which has co-op modes, QuarryEach player can invite seven of their friends to join them in the game. You can have the group vote on big decisions together or each individual take control of a counselor.
The counselors will have varied relationships, friendships, and flirtations, and it’ll be up to the player to decide who dies, who lives, who betrays whom, and who gets together. You can also adjust the difficulty of all gameplay elements including Movie Mode. This allows you to watch horror unfold rather than playing. You have two options: fight for your protagonist or relax and choose your fate.
QuarryThe game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (Windows PC), Xbox One and Xbox Series X on June 10.
