The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Gets New May Release Date

Daedalic Entertainment announced The Lord of the Rings, Gollum in 2019 and said it would be out in 2021. It was released in 2021 but it was later delayed until 2022. In May of last year, Daedalic revealed Gollum would release in September but then, in July, announced it had been delayed once more. Daedalic today announced that Gollum will be finally released in May.

Gollum will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It also arrives on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Daedalic claims that a Switch edition of Gollum will not be available, although it is planned for later in the year. Daedalic also released a story trailer. You can check it below.

A press release states that “The Lord of the Rings Gollum” is a story-driven adventure. Gollum is a dangerous adventurer who seeks the one thing you hold most dear. You can climb, jump, or sneak past obstacles to get into favorable spots. Gollum has a split personality and is skilled and clever. It is up to you to decide whether to yield to the darker side of Gollum or trust the kinder gentler hint of Sméagol.”
