The Game Award’s best giants, as ranked by size
The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley’s annual shebang dedicated to celebrating video games, is always a big deal.
Each year, the awards show brings together the who’s who of the video games world to celebrate, you guessed it, video games. The result is a marathon show with new announcements and live music performances. There are also cameos from celebrities who supposedly care about games.
The 2021 Games Awards still managed to be one of the largest shows. No! We aren’t referencing the length of the show (the pre and main show ran over three hours) or the number of people in attendance (it was in-person again this year).
What we mean by “biggest yet” is that there were quite literally a ton of giants shown throughout the games. You can call them Behemoths or kaijus but they were present! So Polygon decided to make a list of them — here are all of the giants showcased at The Game Awards, organized by how big they looked in the trailers.
1. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Rocksteady Studios, WB Games, and Rocksteady Games showcased this beast terrorizing the city with new gameplay. Killing the Justice League: Suicide Squad. I’m not sure if it’s a giant robot spaceship or a singular monster. Regardless, it gets top entry on this list since it’s literally the size of an entire city.
2. General Radahn (The Conqueror of Stars), Elden Ring

For the first time, we have a new trailer about lore. Elden Ring. It featured General Radahn (The Conqueror of the Stars), with his long hair and big swords. His body is big, but his hair is bigger — leading us to award him the number two spot.
3. A gross troll in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

While the giant of the new Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 gameplay video wasn’t the largest we saw last night, it wins bonus points for looking creepy. It was shown that Senua tried to bring it down using fire.

Nightingale is a new survival game set in a fantasy Victorian era from Improbable’s Edmonton studio. Instead of having to face a boss giant, we were able to witness a peaceful exchange between giant and human. We later see a giant devastating a settlement.

As turns out, Tiny Tina isn’t always so tiny. Here’s a new trailer. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands It was amazing to see the witch magnified into such huge proportions. She’s so large that all the characters look like mere figurines.
6. Will Arnett be next to Ashly Birch?

Ashly Burch and Will Arnett, actors attended the awards ceremony to show off the trailer. Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. Celebheightwiki states that Will Arnett measures 6ft 2ins tall. But he stands taller next to Burch. It’s possible he could be considered a giant.
