Twenty years ago, we experienced the original story of Lloyd Irving and his journey to save the two worlds of Sylvarant and Tethe’alla with his friends. Long-time readers still love the story because it is filled with memorable characters and an emotional plot.

Lloyd and his friends’ adventures are unforgettable. You can guide the party with your sorcery and swordsmanship skills.

Art and Techniques

You can set up every character so they can use magic tricks or other techniques. Every character learns magic or other techniques with increasing character levels. When magic or techniques are used, the character will perform powerful attacks or enable recovery by consuming a character’s TP.

You can select the magic tricks that your character activates using the left stick combination. For techniques, there are “beginner magic,” “intermediate magic,” and “advanced magic,” while for skills, there are “Lv1. Special Attacks,” “Lv2. Special Attacks,” and “Lv3. Special Attacks. Some techniques can only be learned from lower levels. You can learn some techniques only by learning a lower level technique fifty times.

EX Skills

You can add additional abilities to your character. You may be able to obtain EX Gems during the game. These can then be used on your character in order to give them EX Skills.

Complementary EX skills can be learnt when certain EX capabilities are combined on a single character. For example, in the case of Colette, if the level 1 skills Defend and Accuracy are equipped, she can learn a compound EX skill called “Search Item”.

Different Character Types

An EX skill has a function that allows the character to change its type. Type is the type of the art and techniques that a character will learn. The current type can be identified by the gauge displayed on the status screen. The gauge is updated with every battle. This determines whether the character will become a T or S-Type.

T-Type (Technical)

These types learn area effects techniques and techniques with a high number of hits that can be used to target multiple enemies. If you are looking for continuous methods or a specialization in magic, then the T-type is a good choice.

S-Type (Strike)

The S-Type learns tactics that focus on single target damage. If you want to strike a strong blow, the S-Type is a good choice. The S-Type is very effective against single bosses.

Tip to the Production Team:If characters use magic it is suggested that they become a T Type and can then learn many effects. The lightning-type skill Indignation has high power and a large area, making it a great choice for those who want to be the best in combat.

Unison Attack

Each member of the party can combine all four techs to create a Unison Attack. Unison Attack techs do not require any TP, but can cause additional damage depending on how they are combined.

Unison Attack Activation

A combination of different techniques can trigger a special compound technique at the Unison Attack. For example, a swordsman character like Lloyd, Zelos, or Kratos can activate the compound special technique, “Cross Thrust”, by using “Sonic Thrust” together. Combining powerful techniques will make the compound special technology even more powerful.

Gungnir, a powerful combined technique, can be activated by using Raine’s Ray or Holy Lance ability combined with Hurricane Thrust or Super Sonic Thrust from a swordsman character.

AI Strategy

AI will control characters that are not controlled by the players during battle and follow a custom behavior pattern. There are three types of strategy. Each category includes instructions about the priority targets and how many magic or techniques you can use. The range that the enemy must be engaged is also included. You can set the strategy from your battle menu. You can register as many strategies for your team members using the User Command. These strategy settings are available to be modified during battle.

Production Team Tip Sometimes enemies may be encountered more than one time. If this happens, it is important to tailor the strategy to match the battlefield situation. We suggest prioritizing low HP enemies so that they can be eliminated first.

Cooking

Your journey is not complete without rest! Let’s cook to recharge your body and soul. By utilizing cooking, you’ll be able to unlock several ways to recover your party member’s ailments and resources. You can cook any dish by selecting the person responsible for cooking it and the recipe from the menu.

All members of a group can be retrieved and treated as soon as the ingredients are ready. It can also be done at the end of a battle, so you’ll want to stock up on frequently used ingredients. Cooking can go wrong, which will reduce its effectiveness. Cook as many dishes as you can, even if it is not the best.

Each person has their own cooking skills. With each dish you prepare, your proficiency levels increase. A higher level means that the dishes are more successful. You can also learn secret recipes from Wonder chefs around the globe. There is one Wonder chef in every city. They are disguised as objects such as a pumpkin, bear or bear statue making it difficult for people to find them.

Tip for the Production Team:Cream Stew and Miso Stew are our favorites. You should master these before you take on any strong foe!
