To those who are unaware Miasma ChroniclesThe Bearded Ladies have a lot of experience in the tactical RPG genre from their previous games. Mutant Year Zero. In Miasma Chronicles, You join Elvis Diggs and a group of characters on a discovery journey through an ecologically devastated wasteland, caused by a powerful force called the Miasma.

Miasma Chronicles has been made with playability in mind by paying homage to many tactical games of the past — we wanted to create a game that allowed for the player to take control of the battlefield. Bearded Ladies’ Game Director Lee Varley, and Producer Mark Parker will share with you their best tips and tricks for your adventure. Miasma Chronicles.

Explore! Explore! Explore!

Exploration is the key. Exploration is key. How to get away with easy kills? Anyone next to a barrel that explodes? What about a large group of people standing in a line, waiting to be hit by a nice grenade? There are opportunities everywhere.

Try out Weapons

Guns can be much more useful than just raw damage output, most guns come with a special built in “bonus” ability which if used correctly (and stacked with the best weapon upgrades) can be very effective. A gun’s lower damage does not necessarily mean that it is inferior.

Surveillance

In battle, you can examine any opponent to find out what abilities and skills they have. It’s worth looking at a new type of enemy to find out what surprises they may have and how you can best counter them.

Working together makes the dream work

Search for synergies between skills. Some party member’s abilities may not seem very valuable at first but when combined can become very powerful.

Who Doesn’t Like Chips?!

Don’t forget the Miasma Chips! The right hacking chips can enhance the already strong Miasma power.

It’s Just One of Those Days

Don’t waste a rage shot! You can still do critical damage with full rage. However, the RNG will apply. So, don’t waste your precious shot on low chances of hitting. Rage may also be stacked. Whenever a critical chance is above 100%, it’s converted to additional damage. There are many different weapon and skill attachments that give bonus critical damage in certain circumstances. You can stack crits to do massive damage.

Cones of Shame

Combining the cones used by more than 1 party member can help you to kill multiple targets when you use weapons that hold multiple rounds.

Keep the High Ground

If you are on high ground you will get an extra bonus for each critical shot. And with the appropriate weapon attachments this bonus can be increased even further.
