Streets Of Rogue 2 Hits Early Access In 2024

We got our first glimpse of Streets of Rogue 2’s over the top action at the Gamescom Opening Night Live pre-show.

This sequel to the 2019 roguelite-action game unfolds now in an open-world procedurally generated sandbox that is 100 times bigger than any previous level. There are a number of different locations, and everything can be destroyed. The game’s characters are able to take on different classes such as farmers, cops, hackers and gorillas in their quest to take down a corrupt Mayor and control the crazy world.

You can choose how you want to go about it, since the game is designed to encourage creative gameplay. There are many ways to achieve your goal. The answer to the question “What is possible in this game?” involves a wide range of weapons and vehicles. You can also build a home where you will be able to relax or farm. The answer appears to be, “Yes.”

The game supports co-op (both local and online), features a ton of side quests, and characters controlled by what a press release describes as “advanced A.I.” Streets of Rogue 2 looks even more nuts than the first game based on the reveal trailer, and we look forward to seeing how it shapes up with it launches on Steam Early Access next year.
