Add new plants to your harvest as you travel through the planet’s environments, uncovering ancient secrets and making new friends along the way. Tech research can help you establish your presence with the natural world and create a successful, sustainable farm.

Your New Home: Building

You can build your house however you like, beginning with blueprints that will help you plan your plots of land and any other buildings. Once you have gathered new materials, it is possible to research additional structures that can be added to your home. You can also use new technologies to upgrade and expand your farm. You can also decorate your homestead by using different colors and fencing. It’s not hard to find a new home for this price.

Your building research can lead to more complex functions like ranching and material processing. When all these pieces come together, it makes for a well-run plot of land, making sure that you’re making the most of your day while not having to worry about basic tasks.

The cultivation of the Alien Fields

It is essential to take advantage of the natural resources around you in order to build a successful homestead. You can also collect alien seeds while exploring the wildernesses of your new planet. You will start by setting up your base farming plot. Then, using the Seed Shooter, sow your seeds. Water the plot for your first harvest. With enough research, you’ll gain access to bigger plots, fertilizer, and other tech to help grow a sustainable and high-quality field.

Occasionally, the planet’s weather will work in your favor through heavy rainfall, though harsh weather can also negatively affect and even damage your crops. Every plant is different and has its own growth requirements, so make sure you keep your eyes on them! Once they’ve matured, these alien plants can be sold or used as materials for components. This material can then be used to build mech buildings or other structures.

The Horizon is yours

Beyond your landing site, you’ll find a vibrant world. Although you will only need basic jump boosters and bipedal movements, the mech is capable of covering a great deal of terrain, traversing through different environments with their unique weather and fauna. While your legs alone might not be able to navigate every environment, after doing research, you’ll have access to more transportation modules. Get some boosters and treads to help you get back into the wilder areas.

There’s more to this planet than just nature, though; nestled into the terrain, you’ll come across ancient structures that hold untold secrets. The research you do will uncover new information about how these structures were created and what the keys are to breaking them down. You may be surprised at what lies below the surface.
