Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Gets Performance Patch On PC Today, Consoles Tomorrow
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a pretty great game that, unfortunately, isn’t running as well as it could be for some players. Respawn’s performance update will address PC-specific issues.
According to reports, the PC version has been plagued by a number of bugs and errors that have affected frame rate. Today’s update, which is now live, is only stated as being “performance improvements for non-raytraced rendering” in the patch notes.
That doesn’t seem like the most helpful update on the surface, but it’s worth noting that the multiple improvements coming to the console versions, which are listed below, have already been implemented on PC:
- Fixed crashes in various sections of PlayStation Series X/S games and Xbox Series X/S.
- Fixes crashes caused by skipping films.
- The performance of Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 has been improved.
- Fixes a problem with the dynamic fabric inside Mantis
- Fixes various rendering issues
- The registered Nekko color was not saving.
- The registered Nekko no longer disappears from the stable.
- Fixes for cinematic dialog overlapping.
- Fixes for various collision problems
- The AI of the opponent was not moving in photo mode. remaining in T Pose during photo mode.
- Fixes a freezing that occurred occasionally when talking with Doma.
- Fixes a bug that prevented the proper rendering of BD Oil VFX.
- Fixed an issue where players were getting stuck inside the Chamber of Duality if you didn’t save after leaving the chamber and die.
Hopefully, today’s PC patch does some significant help, but if not, Respawn, at least has other updates in the works. If you’re playing on PC, how has your experience with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor been? Has today’s update helped at all? Comment below and let us know.
