Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Action Figures Hint At Gunplay In The Sequel

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be the sequel to Fallen Order. This game brings back Cal Kestis, most likely as a Jedi Knight. Although the game has yet to be released, it was shown in a trailer and only once. However, its first action figure will arrive soon. Hasbro has just unveiled a 6-inch Black Series action figure to go with the KX Security Droid. It will be featured in the sequel.

Security Droids were an a major threat to Fallen Order. They look more intimidating now that they have a fuel-based weapon. It is evident that the tank at the back of this droid must be weak. This figure will fall under Hasbro’s Gaming Greats range and can be ordered exclusively from GameStop starting July 28 at 12 p.m. ET.

Hasbro has also revealed a Cal Kestis Vintage Collection figurine, giving us an insight into the new look of the protagonist. This figure stands at 3.75 inches tall and includes a blue lightsaber, BD-1 and his companion. Cal has lost his poncho, and has facial hair. Cal can be pre-ordered at most retailers including Hasbro Pulse starting July 23, 2005, 5 p.m. ET.

It is the accessory for the blaster that makes the Cal figure stand out. Could this be a hint that Survivor will feature running and gunning alongside the Jedi-like action? It could be his weapon of choice in some story. Although we will have to wait until the end to see if it turns out to be a weapon he uses in a story sequence, it’s a unique item to include with an action figure.

Hasbro announced another Battle Droid. Cal is likely to chop (or blast!) it within seconds. It can be collapsed into dropship form by being articulated. The exclusive sale of this figure is at GameStop. Preorders can be made starting July 28th at noon. ET.

It’s a great start to a collection that I cannot wait for me to play. Let’s hope Hasbro continues to add figures over the next few months. Which villains are there? This is the question that I am most interested in answering.
