Square Enix’s new adventure Forspoken launches on PC, PS5 in May

Forspoken, Square Enix announces that the narrative adventure by Luminous Productions will debut May 24, 2022.

A trailer shows Frey Holland as a New Yorker. In the new trailer, she finds herself in Athia. Frey Holland is an extraordinary supernatural power possessed and isn’t sure what to do. She’s also landed in the middle of a serious conflict, where one side seems not to trust her, and another Definitely It does not.

The villains here are formerly benevolent matriarchs, known as Tantas, who are now “maddened and evil sorceresses,” says Luminous Productions. Frey accepts to assist the citizens of Athia and sets out on a quest to find her powers and defeat the Tantas.

The 90-second gameplay trailer shows off Frey’s traversal, melee, offensive, and defensive abilities, as well as the array of beasts and baddies she’ll deploy those skills against. The ForspokenProject Athia was previously known as Ella Balinska. It was first revealed in March. Ella Balinska (Charlie’s AngelsFrey is the starred character in this game.
