Many people associate gaming in 2022 and the amazing February. The thing is, March is looking to be just good and dare I say… even better than the month we just had! Our team has organized our spring releases in the following categories to celebrate the incredible content that will be coming to Xbox. Spring Games Spotlight. We’re excited to bring you a ton of new digital games every week for five weeks. Between March 8th and April 11th, our team will release 40+ titles. Microsoft Rewards is a popular promotion we have each year at Summer Spotlight. We’re returning it for Spring Games Spotlight. Spend $50 to qualify titles, and receive 5,000 Microsoft Rewards Points. We have listed a few Spring Games Spotlight titles that are available right now, or soon. These will get you excited for another great season of gaming.
- Tunic – Tunic was an E3 standout announcement way back in 2018 and has since released a couple demos that have the game landing on most indie fans list of most anticipated games of 2022. TunicAn action adventure about one tiny fox trying to survive in the big wide world. Find spooky places, explore the wilderness and battle evil creatures that have long since passed. TunicThis console launches exclusively on March 16, and will be available for purchase starting at 3:00 p.m.
- Shredders – Another E3 standout, ShreddersThe ultimate snowboarding challenge created for riders by riders. To score a wildcard to an invitational, you must break into the biggest snowboarding event. To prove you’re up to the challenge, master the art of park riding, buttering, rails, and massive kickers and earn your place in the world of snowboarding. ShreddersThis console exclusive launch is available with Xbox Game Pass on day one, and will be released March 17.
- MLB The Show 2022 – MLB The ShowIt was a hit on Xbox and Xbox 360 last year. MLB The Show 2022 takes last year’s title even further. You can create and manage multiple players beyond the Road to the Show personal baseball RPG experience. Play with your friends across platforms and in different progressions. Are you ready to step up? You can personalize your gameplay experience by adding two different difficulty levels and gameplay styles to make it easier for you to master the game. MLB The Show 2022Xbox Game Pass is now available on day one. It will be released April 5th.
- RPG Time: Wright’s Legend – Sticking with our theme of E3 announced titles releasing this month, Time to RenderA wonderful Japanese team is helping the project make its way to Xbox. You play as a young boy who dreams to be a game designer. While the game’s title contains the term “RPG,” players will soon find themselves playing games other than the hand-drawn RPG on a notebook: a world made from cardboard and stationary strewn across a desk will also have players play action, adventure, side-scrolling shooters, and even command battle games! Time RIt is a passionate project which took nine years and was released on March 10, as a exclusive console launch.
- Young Souls – Young SoulsThis 2D brawler combines story-rich action RPG with stunning 2D graphics. You will need to fight hordes a belligerent Goblin army, upgrade your weapons, find new accessories and explore the worlds as you and your twin rebellious brothers battle for survival. Young SoulsXbox Game Pass is now available as a day-one option. The game will be released on March 10.
